Falun2015 Live is an official application developed for the Nordic World Ski Championships held in Falun, offering an innovative and immersive experience for users. Utilizing advanced 3D technology tailored for tablets, the app provides unprecedented access to the event from multiple perspectives.

Participants can view cross-country skiing competitions through the lens of their favorite athletes, selecting live camera angles to follow races in a dynamic 3D environment. The application also offers comprehensive coverage of ski jumping events, with real-time results and interactive visualizations that enhance the viewing experience.

One of the notable features is the ability to act as a virtual TV producer—users can choose from various live camera feeds positioned along cross-country trails and ski jumping hills, tailoring their viewing experience to their preferences.

Additionally, the app facilitates exploration of key venues—including the National Ski Arena Lugnet, the Medal Plaza, exhibition areas, and festival pavilions—allowing users to engage with ongoing events and festivities during the Championships.

The interactive camera function empowers users to follow the action closely by zooming and panning within a virtual free-flying camera, highlighting points of interest on demand.
